AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Our Mission is:
To promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with a brain injury, their families and carers
Our objectives are:
- To increase public awareness and understanding of head injury
- To participate in activities that will reduce the incidence of head injury
- To provide information and support for people with head injuries, their relatives and carers
- To promote co-ordinated multidisciplinary approaches to:
- head injury screening
- acute care, assessment
- rehabilitation
- community reintegration with clear accountability at all stages
- To assist people with head injuries to return to community living, including access to appropriate accommodation, social outlets and productive activity
